Tammy Dudley, CMTI spent a lot of time when I was young sitting with my beloved Nanny, rubbing her arthritic, swollen knuckles, scratching and massaging her back, or playing with her hair and massaging her head. She and I both received a great deal of satisfaction and pleasure from this activity, and it is one of my fondest childhood memories. I didn't fully understand why this was such an enjoyable experience for us at that time, but I have since learned a lot about all the scientific evidence that proves what most of us already know -- human touch is both absolutely necessary for our psychological and physical health, and it also can be deeply therapeutic and helpful in restoring health when things have gotten out of balance. I became a Massage Therapist and founded SeaRhythms Massage because I have a deep seated belief in the power of touch to bring health, harmony, and happiness to the human experience. Because my clients are all individuals with varying needs, I customize each massage session for maximum therapeutic effect. I have developed a high level of techical skill in manual therapy, along with an intuitive, tactile understanding of the human body. After laying my hands on you, I often will know right away exactly where you hurt and can focus my therapeutic work to relax the tissues, increase circulation, and promote healing in the areas that most need it, while also nurturing a relaxed state for your entire mind and body. I consider nurturing, educating, and helping others to feel healthy and whole as one of my life callings, and I feel blessed to be able to offer the healing touch of massage to those I work with. In my opinion, there is nothing that can compare to the laying on of hands for bringing the body and mind to a state of balance and harmony. What Tammy's clients are saying... "I've gotten massage for 14 years for severe musculoskeletal disease. Tammy is excellent. Truly. I have a lot of experience going to therapists. I can tell you who really knows what they are doing, and can do it. Tammy is the real deal. If you are considering who to see, you can't find better than her..." “Tammy does an AMAZING job. She is very dedicated to personalizing your massage to HELP you, she doesn’t just give a timed massage….it’s so much more!” "Tammy is great!! I have fibromyalgia and have had many massages from different people and Tammy's massages are the only one where I feel less pain afterwards. Last time I saw her I didn't have to take any pain meds for over a week." "I have had many, many massages,, and the one that I got from Tammy at SeaRhythms was one of the very best EVER!!! LOVED it!! Going for another on Tuesday!!" "This was the best massage I have ever had. I was so relaxed that I nodded off a few times and didn't want it to end. I'll be back and have recommended Tammy to friends." "GREAT JOB! Tammy's technique is very strong. She customizes your experience to what she finds and knows how to really target the areas that need attention the most." “A great massage, Tammy is a natural. Tammy has a knack for going deep but then backing off and easing a spasm – as opposed to just rubbing the heck out of it until it hurts. I felt better when it was done and that’s the whole point. I also feel better the next day and that’s even more the whole point. I will definitely be back as often as my pocketbook allows.” “I have to say WOW! I felt great after my massage. I wanted to thank you for taking the time to research fibromyalgia before seeing me. I was having a good day when I saw you but still had a little pain and tightness in my lower back and hips. After seeing you I have felt so much better. It’s been three days and I have not had to take any pain medicine. Thank you for everything. I can’t wait for my next massage.” "The massage was wonderful and I really appreciate everything you did Tammy and you were very professional. I will be a regular customer from now on. I was so relaxed afterward and just could not stop talking about it. Thank you. " "Tammy did a great job and I felt so relaxed from head to toe after she was finished. She made sure I felt OK with the pressure she was using. She also helped work out some real tight spots in my shoulder and back area. After wards I was so relaxed I looked like I had just woken up! I was very pleased with my massage and have already signed up for my next one!" "I found Tammy to be very professional and definitely nurturing. She took a lot of extra time with my particular trouble spots as well as giving an overall fantastic massage. She is concerned with the total health of her clients. I highly recommend her and I will continue with her for as long as she is willing take me. I have never enjoyed a massage as much as the ones Tammy has given me. My favorite part of her massages is feeling the tension leave my neck and being able to relax enough to fall asleep." "I just wanted to send you a quick note to say "Thank you" for the wonderful massage! I think you have found your calling. You are a natural... I have told everyone I know how wonderful it was." |
