Cancellation Policy

Cancellations / Reschedules/ No-shows / Late Arrivals:

Please arrive on time for your appointments, and always allow at least 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule or cancel.

When you book an appointment, that time is set aside just for you. If you need to make any changes, please let me know at least 24 hours in advance, which gives me time to offer the appointment to someone else on my wait list. As a sole practitioner, my ability to fill these appointments directly impacts my livelihood.

Therefore, the following policies will apply in the cases of cancellations, reschedules, no-shows, or late arrivals:

  • If a 24 hour advance notice of cancellation is not given, or you simply do not show up for your appointment, the full fee for your intended session will be due.
  • If you had intended to pay with a Gift Certificate or Package Credit and you miss your appointment without sufficient notice, the certificate or credit will be applied as payment for the missed session.
  • Consistent late cancellations, reschedules, or no-shows may result in the inability to book future appointments.
  • If you arrive late for your appointment, your session may be shortened to ensure the next client’s appointment starts on time. The full session fee will still apply.

At my discretion, I may elect to waive this policy in cases of documented emergency or illness.  If I need to cancel or reschedule your appointment on short notice, it will only be in cases of emergency or illness, and I will contact you with as much notice as possible.
